Pre-installation:

Sunfloor warrants that uncut, uninstalled pieces that do not meet our specifications will be replaced at no cost to you.

Structural Warranty:

Sunfloor warrants that our flooring products are free from defects in lamination and milling within industry standard and will remain free from above defects for 25 years.

Finish Warranty:

Sunfloor warrants that under normal residential conditions and with proper maintenance as per our advice on care and maintenance, Sunfloor U.V. Acrylic finish will not wear through to the wood for 25 years from the date of original purchase. This warranty is effective provided the wear areas represent more than 10% of total area.

General Coverage:

This warranty is effective for original owner only. Further, if claims are made against this warranty, proof of purchase should be submitted.

EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY COVERAGE

Sunfloor warranty will be void if any of the following occur:

Improper installations: If installation is not done according to specifications, and this causes problems with the floor, the warranty is void.

Visible defects: Installer must inspect each board before installation, any visible defects must be noted and reported before commencement of installation so that replacement can be furnished before actual installation. The warranty does not extend to cover visible defect after the flooring has been installed. Natural wood characteristics such as mineral streaks, small knots, grain variations are normal characteristics and are not considered defects.

Improper maintenance: Please follow the maintenance instructions. Warranty will only be effective, when proper maintenance as per the advice has been observed.

Extreme environmental conditions: Exposure to extreme heat, dryness, moisture or water saturation, including wet mopping, improper exterior drainage, broken plumbing, hydrostatic pressure or other sources of water will void this warranty.

Alteration or repair: Alteration or repair that is not authorized by manufacturer will void the warranty.

Accidents, abuse or misuse: This warranty does not cover damage from heavy furniture or equipment used without sufficient protection, impact damage or scars as from sharp or pointed objects such as stiletto heels, spiked heels, stone chips, gravel, scratches, pet claws, etc. They also do not cover loss of gloss and damage from moisture caused by wet mopping, spills, standing water and incorrect maintenance.

Seasonal changes: Hardwood floors, being natural a natural wood product, will experience some dimensional changes immediately after installation and during normal environmental changes. Also, subtle changes will occur caused by age or normal exposure to sunlight. These normal occurrences are not covered under this warranty.

Wood is a natural living product and variations in color and grain are inherent. Further color changes in the wood should be expected as the floor is maturing.

This warranty does not cover possible differences between color samples and color of installed floors.

The warranty does not cover any insect infestation after the product has left our factory.
