Environmentally friendly.
Bamboo is a grass, not wood. Bamboo produces new shoots each year and is individually harvested from controlled forests within 4 to 5 years. Since it is a fast growing and replenishable, it won't hurt our rainforest. Furthermore, we only use Mao Zhu (hairy bamboo) for the D & M products and Mao Zhu is one of the hundreds of bamboo species not consumed by panda.

Nothing can compare with the beauty of nature. The distinct grains provide the elegant pattern which is not only unique but can compliment any decor in your room. D & M offers two hues, natural and carbonized (darker brown) in matte finish. They also offer unfinished planks which can be stained in any colors of your choice.

Durability and sturdiness.
Natural bamboo flooring is very durable. It is 13% harder than red oak and 50% more stable than maple. All of D & M's bamboo planks are treated with aluminum oxide, acrylic urethane with UV cured which gives a resistance to water, mildew, insects and wear.

Ease of installation and maintenance.
Tongue and groove bamboo flooring can be installed in the same way as all other regular wood floors, either directly glued down or nailed down. Long strip flooring can be floated as well. Having a natural resistance to moisture and mildew, it is ideal for both commercial and residential buildings. Bamboo flooring is also easy to maintain. Regular dust mopping or vacuuming is all that is required.
