Residential Flooring Warranties
The
true essence of the American home is captured in the time-honored
choice of quality hardwood flooring. While job-site-finished
floors may be beautiful for a while, they cannot compare
to the distinctive and inherently stronger engineered wood
floors made by Anderson Hardwood Floors*. Anderson's hardwood
floors are manufactured to exceed industry grade standards
(ANSI/HPVA LF 2002).
We
at Anderson not only build more durable floors, but we can
also offer you more choices in species and construction.
These include oak, pecan, hickory, beech, pine, maple and
elm, in 2 1/4", 3", 5" widths and 3/8"
and 1/2" thickness. We also back up your investment
with a complete line of warranties. These products and warranties
allow you to choose the floor that is right for you, your
lifestyle and your budget.
While
quality products and warranties are extremely important,
proper installation and maintenance of your new Anderson
floor are also essential to ensure years of enjoyment.

Hardwood Floors", or "Anderson").
Please
Read the Following Carefully...
The
following contains all of the warranty and maintenance information,
plus common sense warranty exclusions, that you'll need
to know to maintain your warranties and to keep your new
Anderson Hardwood floor looking beautiful for years to come.
ANY
WARRANTIES WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THIS SALE IN ADDITION
TO THE LIMITED WARRANTIES DESCRIBED BELOW, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION
TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RESIDENTIAL FINISH WEAR DESCRIBED
BELOW (TWENTY YEARS ON RHINOTUFF AND MOUNTAIN; TEN YEARS
ON FREEDOM FLOORS; THREE YEARS ON SPECIAL SERIES FLOORS
AND ONE YEAR FOR WHITE FINISHED FLOORS SUCH AS ARCTIC FINISHES).
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED
WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU. SEE "WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS" SECTION FOR ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION.
Who
is Covered Under the Warranties?
These

for your own personal residential use and not for resale.
These warranties ARE NOT transferable or assignable and
they DO NOT apply to nonresidential, rental or commercial
purchases/installations.
*One
or more of the following limited warranties may not apply
to certain specific product grades. Be sure to carefully
read and examine the terms of each limited warranty in order

LIMITED
RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
(VARIED DURATION ACCORDING TO PRODUCT PURCHASE)
Every
Anderson hardwood floor is manufactured using our exclusive
engineered process. This process permanently locks the plies
together to deliver more dimensional stability and split
resistance than ordinary solid oak lumber.
In
the event that the plies should separate due to glue-bond
failure, or in the event that the flooring should buckle,
warp or twist in a normally maintained humidity range
of 40%-70%, Anderson Hardwood Floors will, at our option,
either: (1) repair the defective plank(s); (2) replace
the defective plank(s); or (3) refund the purchase price
(as further defined below). This is the sole and exclusive
remedy under this limited warranty (see below for further
details).
This
limited warranty is effective for the period listed below

RESIDENTIAL SUBFLOOR BOND WARRANTY
(VARIED DURATION ACCORDING TO PRODUCT PURCHASED)
(Does Not Apply to Special Series Floors)
Not
only do we have one of the most structurally sound floors
available, our installation products are also constructed
to meet the highest degree of performance.
Anderson
will warrant against subfloor adhesive-bond("glue-bond")
failure; i.e., your hardwood floor releasing from the subfloor
due to glue-bond failure caused by hydrostatic moisture
migrating from beneath the subfloor, ONLY under the following
conditions: (1) at the time your Anderson hardwood flooring
was installed, the subfloor was visually dry and had no
prior history of moisture problems; (2) your Anderson hardwood
flooring was installed by a professional installer according
to our installation instructions (which are included with
our purchase package), using either Anderson Duck Glue™
adhesive or an Anderson-approved equivalent; and (3) ONLY
if glue-bond failure occurs as the direct result of hydrostatic
moisture migration from beneath the subfloor.
If
the planks should release from the subfloor under the above-stated
conditions, Anderson Hardwood Floors will, at our option,
either (1) repair the defective plank(s), ONE TIME ONLY;
(2) replace the defective plank(s), ONE TIME ONLY; or (3)
refund the purchase price (as further defined below). This
is the sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty
(see below for further details).
Anderson
will ONLY be obligated under this warranty if testing approved
by Anderson conclusively proves that the glue-bond failure
resulted directly from hydrostatic moisture migration from
beneath the subfloor; Anderson will NOT be obligated if
testing conclusively proves that the moisture came from
any other source (including but not limited to plumbing
leaks, flooding, rain, landscape watering/irrigation, wet-
or damp-mopping, or other causes listed herein).
This
limited warranty covers ONLY glue-bond failure; it DOES
NOT cover damage to the hardwood flooring caused by sub-floor
moisture migration or by any other cause. In extreme cases
of subfloor moisture, some wood planks may mildew or discolor.
This is NOT a manufacturing defect and is therefore NOT
covered by this LIMITED warranty.
If
the subfloor moisture migration occurs a second time, Anderson
will conclude that the problem is specific to the site and/or
was caused by improper installation. Any damage resulting
from these causes is NOT covered under this limited warranty.
This
limited warranty is effective for Freedom, RhinoTuff, and
Mountain Floors for as long as you own your floor as defined
under the "WHO IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTIES?"
section above. Special Series Floors are not warranted.

SPECIAL
NOTE: WARRANTY LIMITATIONS FOR STAPLE-DOWN OR NAIL-DOWN
INSTALLATIONS (APPLIES TO ALL WARRANTIES UNDER WHICH ANDERSON
HARDWOOD FLOORS IS OR MAY BE OBLIGATED).
Our
products are not warranted against squeaking, popping or
crackling when using staple-down or nail-down installation
methods. Some squeaking, popping or crackling is possible
when using staple-down or nail-down installation methods.
Anderson hardwood floors are NOT warranted against these
occurrences UNLESS the tongue or groove is found to be manufactured
out of specification. The possibility of squeaking, popping
or crackling may be aggravated in arid areas or in extremely
dry conditions. In addition, Anderson Hardwood Floors does
not warrant against staple or nail pullout from the subfloor.

SUBFLOOR
MOISTURE DAMAGE LIMITED WARRANTY
(Does
Not Apply to Special Series Floors, See SUBFLOOR ADHESIVE
BOND LIMITED WARRANTY above)
Anderson
offers a solution to moisture emission problems that are
always a concern with concrete subfloors. Anderson Duck
Seal™, used in conjunction with Anderson Duck Glue™,
offers a moisture reduction system second to none and is
highly recommended for most grades of flooring.
Anderson
will warrant against damage to your hardwood flooring, such
as delamination, discoloration, twisting, gapping, warping
or buckling due to subfloor moisture migration, under the
following conditions: (1) when Anderson Duck Seal™
or an Anderson-approved equivalent is applied by a certified
Duck Seal™ installer, in accordance with all label
directions, and is used in conjunction with Anderson Duck
Glue™ or an Anderson-approved equivalent; and (2) when
your hardwood flooring is installed by a professional installer
in accordance with Anderson's installation instructions
(which are included with your purchase package). In the
event of damage to the hardwood flooring due to subfloor
moisture transmission caused by seal failure when the above-stated
conditions are met, Anderson will, at our option, either:
(1) repair the defective plank(s); (2) replace the defective
plank(s); or (3) refund the purchase price (as further defined
below). This is the sole and exclusive remedy under this
limited warranty (see below for further details).
This
limited warranty is effective for Freedom, RhinoTuff and
Mountain Floors for as long as you own your floor as defined
under the "WHO IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTIES?"
section above. Special Series Floors are not warranted.
Anderson
cannot be certain of compatibility of other seals and adhesives
other than the compatibility of Anderson Duck Seal™
with Anderson Duck Glue™ adhesive. In addition, Anderson
cannot warrant the performance of other manufacturers flooring
products. Under no circumstances shall Anderson Hardwood
Floors be held responsible, under any of these warranties
or under any other express or implied warranty, for any
defects or damage caused by other flooring products. Contact
1-800-263-7272 for information about the compatibility of
these and other products with other flooring, and for any
warranty coverage that may be available from the manufacturer
of Anderson Duck Seal™
BE
AWARE THAT Cracks in the concrete subfloor MUST be repaired
AFTER application of Anderson Duck Seal™ or Anderson-approved
equivalent. Migration of water through cracks in the concrete
will void these warranties. Also, moisture from above or
flooding of the surface of the hardwood flooring is NOT
covered under these warranties.

RESIDENTIAL FINISH WARRANTY
(VARIED DURATION ACCORDING TO PRODUCT PURCHASED)
Our
no-wax, factory-applied finishes-RhinoPoly Finish with Luster-Lock
and Freedom Finish with Luster-Lock-make hardwood floor
installations fast and easy. Every plank is ready to install
right out of the carton. There is no need for sanding or
staining. With our UV-cured Luster-Lock finish you gain
the assurance of unmatched durability and wearability.
Anderson
will warrant, under normal residential conditions, and
providing that Anderson's maintenance guidelines are strictly
followed, that the finish will not wear through or peel
off of the hardwood flooring.
In
the event that the finish wears through or peels off of
the hardwood flooring, Anderson will, at our option, either:
(1) replace the affected plank(s); (2) recoat the affected
area; or (3) refund the purchase price, for the affected
area ONLY, prorated over the remaining life of this limited
warranty. This is the sole and exclusive remedy under
this limited warranty (see below for further details).
If Anderson elects to refund the purchase price, the base
purchase price (from which any prorata calculations shall
be made) shall be the amount you originally paid for the
flooring, as shown on your original invoice, which invoice
you are required to produce. If you are unable to produce
your invoice, Anderson will use its standard pricing tables
to determine the base purchase price. NOTE that the refund
amount DOES NOT include any cost incurred for removal/replacement
of cabinets, appliances or other fixtures. NOTE ALSO that
this limited warranty extends only for defects that cover
at least 10% of the surface area of the installed flooring.
PLEASE
REFER BELOW TO WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: Recoating and Finishing
Alterations regarding specific exclusions for this limited
warranty as to any finish or non-factory-applied finish
(finishes applied by the owner or installer). In addition,
REFER BELOW TO WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: "Improper Maintenance"
regarding specific exclusions for this limited warranty
as to improper maintenance.

PLEASE
NOTE THAT OUR WHITE COLORS, MAPLE, ELM AND PINE FLOORS REQUIRE
EXTRA CARE. White colors will show dirt and require
more frequent maintenance than dark colors. Maple, Elm and
Pine are inherently smooth wood and will show scratches
and dents more readily than Oak or Pecan. You should consider
these factors when making your flooring selection.

checks, discoloration, filling, sound knots, rough grain,

ENVIRONMENTAL
GUARANTEE
Anderson
takes the environment seriously. Anderson supports the Best
Management Practices (BMP's) for timber harvesting. Our
environmental goals include: wildlife preservation, forest
regeneration, limiting soil erosion and making the most
efficient use of all our raw materials. Upon receiving your
warranty registration, Anderson will plant a hardwood tree
in one of America's Heritage Forests through the Hardwood
Forestry Fund. Other flooring manufacturers such as carpet
and sheet vinyl companies cannot guarantee that they renew
the resources from which their products are made. Wood is
the only natural, renewable resource in the flooring industry.
REGISTER
YOUR FLOOR (Click
here to register online)
Please
take time to completely fill out the warranty registration
card and return it to Anderson Hardwood Floors at the address
listed on the card. In the alternative, you may provide
this information to us online by going to warranty
registration. You must provide this registration
information through one of the above methods within sixty
days from the date of purchase in order to get coverage
under any of these warranties; in other words, registration
is a condition precedent to coverage under these warranties.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE that in order to make any claim under these
warranties, evidence of the following must be presented
to Anderson: (1) proof of purchase, including purchase date
and the identity of the original purchaser; and (2) installation
location. Without such proof, NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL
APPLY.
ANDERSON'S
CURATIVE ACTIONS/REMEDIES
Anderson
has gone to great lengths to provide a quality product of
lasting value and beauty. Our warranties are based upon
commonsense principles for use and care of wood products
and are consistent with HPVA standards for laminated wood
flooring (Tables 2 & 3 and appendix section A4).
INCLUDED
IN THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EACH LIMITED WARRANTY
ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE FOR THESE
WARRANTIES. NOTHING STATED IN THIS SECTION ("ANDERSON'S
CURATIVE ACTIONS/REMEDIES") IS INTENDED TO MODIFY,
LIMIT OR EXPAND THE SPECIFICALLY LISTED REMEDIES UNDER THESE
LIMITED WARRANTIES. IF, HOWEVER, YOU ARE FOUND TO BE ENTITLED
TO COVERAGE UNDER ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN ADDITION
TO THOSE SPECIFICALLY LISTED ABOVE, AND YOU CAN PROVE THAT
ANDERSON BREACHED SUCH WARRANTY, THEN YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY (SEE BELOW) FOR ANY PROVEN BREACH IS EITHER (AT THE
OPTION OF ANDERSON HARDWOOD FLOORS): (1) REPAIR THE DEFECTIVE
PLANK(S); (2) REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PLANK(S); OR
(3) REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE (AS FURTHER DEFINED BELOW).
NOTE:
Cabinets and other built-in appliances should be installed
PRIOR to the installation of the hardwood flooring. They
should NOT be installed on top of the hardwood flooring.
Pre-finished hardwood floors should be installed at the
same time as carpets and AFTER finishing the walls to prevent
damage from paint, dry wall dust, wallpaper adhesives and
other materials.
"SOLE
AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY"
IF
THE REMEDY ANDERSON SELECTS IS FOUND TO FAIL IN ITS ESSENTIAL
PURPOSE, THEN ANY FURTHER REMEDY TO WHICH YOU MAY BE ENTITLED
IS SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY LIMITED TO ONE OF THE REMAINING
REMEDIES (OF THE THREE OPTIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE IN THE LIMITED
WARRANTIES), WHICH SHALL BE CHOSEN BY ANDERSON.
DEFINITION
OF "REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE"
UNLESS
DEFINED ELSEWHERE (E.G., SEE DEFINITION IN SECTION ENTITLED
"LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RESIDENTIAL FINISH WEAR",
THE TERM "REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE"
SHALL MEAN THE FOLLOWING: THE AMOUNT YOU ORIGINALLY PAID
FOR THE FLOORING, AS SHOWN ON YOUR ORIGINAL INVOICE, WHICH
INVOICE YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO
PRODUCE YOUR ORIGINAL INVOICE, ANDERSON WILL USE ITS STANDARD
PRICING TABLES TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF YOUR REFUND. NOTE
THAT THE REFUND AMOUNT DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY COST INCURRED
FOR REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT OF CABINETS, APPLIANCES OR OTHER
FIXTURES.
WARRANTY
EXCLUSIONS
Wood
is a natural product containing natural variations in color,
tone and graining. Anderson cannot warrant against natural
variations in color or any other variations, such as mineral
streaks, small knots and grain variations from plank to
plank. Nor can we warrant against natural variations between
samples/models and installed flooring. Any sample or
model shown or used by your seller is for demonstrative
purposes only, and such sample or model DOES NOT create
a warranty of any kind that the goods you purchased shall
conform thereto. Any warranties based on any such sample
or model are specifically disclaimed. If you or your
installer are not satisfied with your floor prior to installation,
simply return the carton(s) to your dealer for a full replacement
(accepting or rejecting the shipment must be done on full
shipment quantities only, not carton-by-carton or plank-by-plank).
The open grain surface of every Anderson plank is finished
with a grain filler to reduce the number of areas where
dust and dirt can get trapped. This does NOT mean, however,
that all planks will have a continuous mirror-like finish
on the wood surface. Although there may be some areas where
deep graining will be evident, they will be completely covered
with finish. Therefore, open graining is not a defect and
is NOT warranted unless the finish is missing, exposing
unstained, raw wood.
Improper
Installation - The floor must be installed according
to Anderson's installation guidelines. Detailed installation
instructions are included in cartons of Anderson hardwood
flooring. Damage caused by improper storage, handling or
installation methods invalidates these warranties. Improper
preparation of, or deficiencies in, the subfloor/floor joist
assembly, including but not limited to excessive floor deflection,
uneven or irregular subfloor surface (particularly at joints)
or voids in the subfloor, are not covered under these warranties.
Check to be certain that the subfloor is within structural
and manufacturing requirements. Defects or failures of other
manufacturers' products at the subfloor assembly, including
but not limited to subfloor material, fasteners, patching
compound, adhesives, and other floor coverings (except as
provided above in the ANDERSON DUCK GLUE™ ADHESIVE
LIMITED WARRANTY and the ANDERSON DUCK SEAL™ LIMITED
WARRANTY) will invalidate these warranties. In no event
shall Anderson be held responsible for any damage caused
to your hardwood flooring by other manufacturers' products,
other than as provided above in the ANDERSON DUCK GLUE™
ADHESIVE LIMITED WARRANTY and the ANDERSON DUCK SEAL™
LIMITED WARRANTY. Other items not covered under the
warranties include: construction traffic abuse to the surface
of the flooring; use of non-recommended nailers, staplers
or adhesives; end gapping due to mastic memory or improper
seating of planks during installation; squeaking, popping
or crackling by any cause other than the mismanufacture
of the tongue or groove. (Popping sounds caused by depressions
in the subfloor ARE NOT covered under these warranties.)
Improper
Maintenance - Floor maintenance must follow the recommendations
outlined in this guide. Damage to the flooring such as dents,
scratches or dulling of the finish are NOT covered. Wet-
or damp-mopping your floor with water or other substances
will also invalidate these warranties. In addition, the
following are NOT covered under these warranties: use of
non-recommended maintenance and floor-care products, including
but not limited to oil soaps, liquid or paste wax products,
other household cleaners that contain lemon or tung oils;
wet- or damp-mopping with water; neglect or abuse of the
hardwood floor, including but not limited to not taking
proper precautions to protect furniture legs and feet with
protective pads to reduce scratches and dents; not using
dollies and protective plywood when moving heavy objects;
furniture or appliances having dirty or improperly operating
casters; spiked and/or damaged heels; pet claws and scratches;
falling or dropped objects which can dent or fracture the
flooring and finish; and dents or scratches in the flooring
caused by furniture, appliances, casters or normal foot
traffic.

HUMIDITY
MAP
Light
Grey: All Species Okay
White:
Humidification Recommended to maintain 40% minimum relative
humidity. Pecan, Elm and Hickory not recommended.
|
Improper
Environment - Anderson floors are not warranted against
damage caused by manmade or natural disasters, including
but not limited to leaking or broken plumbing, landscape
watering/irrigation, fire, flood, earthquake, insect infestation
or standing water during or after construction. Anderson
also does not warrant against: (1) moisture infiltration
from sidewalls or from any source other than through the
subfloor as stated above under the terms of the limited
warranties; (2) normal wearing of the finish in high traffic
areas, pivot points and seating areas; or (3) other extraordinary
circumstances such as extreme low humidity (below 40% for
an extended period of time). In extreme low humidity conditions
(below 40%), planks may shrink and cup until the humidity
returns to a normal level. Surface checks may also be aggravated
by extremely low humidity (below 40%).
Surface
Checking - Occasional cracks or checks in the surface
of wood due to low relative humidity (dryness) are inherent
in all wood products. Anderson research and experience shows
that some species of wood are more susceptible to this phenomenon
than others. After years of testing Anderson has developed
the Arid Reserve Collection especially
designed to perform well in locations where the indoor relative
humidity drops below 40% for extended periods of time. Those
areas are shaded white on the Humidity Map and labeled with
the words "Arid Reserve Collection Only". Those
species include Maple, Pine, Beech, Patagonian Pecan, Brazilian
Oak, Santos Mahogany and Red Oak. All Arid Reserve
Collection wood floors are warranted against surface
checking in all areas of the United States and Canada. Pecan,
Hickory and Elm are not warranted against surface checking
in the Arid Reserve geography, but they are warranted against
surface checking in the rest of the United States. Warrantable
surface checking is defined as cracks in the face of the
floor, which are visible from a standing position in more
than 10% of the floor. Wet mopping and/or installation over
a radiant heated slab will aggravate surface checking and
will thus void this warranty.
Recoating
and Finish Alterations - Alterations to the finish or
non-factory-applied finishes (finishes applied by the owner
or installer), including but not limited to refinishing
or recoating, are NOT part of the finish warranty stated
above and therefore ARE NOT warranted by Anderson Hardwood
Floors.
Natural
Sunlight - The sun and its UV rays cause the aging of
wood and therefore can cause the stain and/or wood to fade
and/or change color. This includes any showroom sample/models.
Therefore, fading or discoloration due to exposure to sunlight
and its UV rays are not covered by these warranties. Use
draperies or shades to help block out most of the sun's
harmful rays. Samples or models in the showroom may also
fade, making an exact match to new flooring impossible.
Custom finishing and staining of interior millwork and/or
cabinets should be done from the actual floor to be installed,
not a showroom sample, if a color and/or gloss match is
desired.
Radiant-heated
Slabs - Installation over radiant-heating systems is
NOT recommended and will void these warranties.
WARRANTY
EFFECTIVE DATE
The
above warranties become valid and effective only after the
following have occurred: (1) payment in full for the flooring
and installation; and (2) receipt of your warranty registration
information through either the card included in your purchase
package or online. (See above in the section entitled "REGISTER
YOUR FLOOR".)
NOTE:
Responsibility for final inspection and approval falls
to the customer and installer prior to permanent installation.
Prior to installation, dry-lay the floor, blending the planks
from several cartons to determine optimum appearance and
to detect flaws. Anderson IS NOT responsible for any costs
associated with repairing or replacing planks with apparent
defects after the floor is installed.

FLOOR
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
How
do I care for my new floor?
Remember,
like any floor covering, our real wood floors will show
signs of wear over time, depending on the size and lifestyle
of your family. By observing a few precautions and setting
up a regular cleaning routine and maintenance program, you
can expect years of beauty from your Anderson hardwood floor.
The following are examples of the reasonable and necessary
maintenance you are expected to perform. They are not intended
to be an exclusive list.
1.
Sweep or vacuum regularly, since built-up grit can damage
the surface of the wood. The vacuum head must be a brush
or felt type. Be certain the wheels of the vacuum are clean
and do not damage the finish. DO NOT USE A VACUUM WITH
A BEATER BAR HEAD.
2.
Remove spills promptly using a soft cloth and cleaning products
recommended by Anderson.
3.
NEVER wet-mop, damp-mop, or flood your floor with
water or other products. This can severely damage the flooring
and will void the warranties. The use of the dry
Swiffer® by Procter & Gamble, or other
similar product, is highly recommended.
4.
The use of Anderson-approved maintenance and floor-care
products, including but not limited to BonaX Swedish Formula
Hardwood Flooring Cleaner and Basic Coating Squeaky Hardwood
Floor Cleaner, is highly recommended.
5.
IMPORTANT: Do not use oil soaps, liquid, or paste
wax products or other household cleaners that contain lemon
oil, tung oil, silicon, or ammonia since these warranties
do not cover damage caused by non-recommended products.
Use of these and other such products will harm the long-term
performance of your floor and may also affect its recoatability.
6.
Keep pet's nails trimmed, and paws clean and free of dirt,
gravel, grease, oil, and stains.
7.
Place protective pads beneath furniture legs and feet to
reduce scratches and dents.
8.
Use a dolly and protective sheets of plywood when moving
heavy objects, furniture, or appliances.
9.
Make certain furniture casters are clean and operate properly
(a minimum 1" width is recommended).
10.
Remove shoes with spiked or damaged heels before walking
on floor.
11.
Exposure to the sun and its UV rays accelerates the oxidation
and aging of wood and fabrics. This causes the stain and/or
wood to fade and/or to change color. We recommend that you
rearrange rugs and furniture periodically so the floor ages
evenly. These warranties do not cover damage from the sun

Daily
general maintenance is highly recommended to help keep your
real wood floor looking its best.
General
Maintenance - Immediately blot up spills or spots with
a damp cloth.
Biweekly
- Vacuum or sweep your floor.
Monthly
- Damp mop floor with Anderson cleaner. Apply the cleaner
to a clean, dampened sponge as directed and wipe the surface
of your floor. Follow up with a clean, dry terry cloth towel
to dry the surface. Never pour cleaner directly onto the
floor.
